Are you up for the Challenge?
Six days, 1100km, and some of the best cycling Victoria has to offer!
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a serious and life-long autoimmune disease that affects over 120,000 Australians. There is no known cure for T1D and it requires 24/7 management for survival and to sustain a healthy quality of life.
We are riding for those families and individuals who live with type 1 diabetes every day and to raise awareness and funds for JDRF (the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). JDRF’s aim is to fund promising, cutting-edge research projects to improve the quality of life for those with T1D and ultimately, unearth a cure.
Many of our past Type 1 Challenge riders either have T1D themselves or a family member or close friend living with T1D, but you don’t need to have a connection to participate!
Help us help JDRF in their mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
If you have any questions about the ride or are interested in volunteering your time as support crew, we’re more than happy to have a chat. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
