It is confronting to know that over 130,000 people in Australia struggle daily to live live to the fullest and i hope i can improve that and help T1D people live happier, longer lives. I hate school holidays, bc I love school, but I can’t wait to dye my hair! I hope all T1D people (yes my brother incuded 😑 and yes the families and support systems, too, they don’t get enough credit) are living a great life and aren’t letting their diabetes hold them back! I’m fundraising for JDRF to defeat T1D! Once I reach my fundraising target to help support vital T1D research, I’ll be dyeing my hair blue.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy, T1D is a serious life risk for just living day to day life.
