I’m fundraising for JDRF to defeat T1D!
Type 1 diabetes was already close to me. my Nan had to have daily injections that we got to see as kids.
But I really want to help in any tiny way especially to bring awareness as well as hopefully gather some donations in support of this cause! A very close family friend just found out her 15 year old has type 1 diabetes and now has to live with a built in apparatus. I cannot imagine the difficulty the major life style change would be to adjust to and this is why I feel the need to be apart of this. Once I reach my fundraising target to help support vital T1D research, I’ll be dyeing my hair blue.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
Please support my challenge and DONATE NOW to help the #JDRFBlueArmy change the lives of Australians living with T1D. Thank you for your support.
