JDRF Blue Hair Challenge FY23

I’m fundraising for JDRF to defeat T1D!

William and Ella-Rose want to do fund-raising this year for something that is very close to us.

This year on the 29th of may we found out that Ella-Rose has T1D in the most scariest way, we almost lost Ella-Rose to T1D with out even knowing, she is now doing so much better and getting back to being her self, Ella-Rose now has a pump witch has made her feel more like a kid again but still have hard days.

Ella-Rose spent 2 days in the ICU and 3 days on ward before we could go home and also had 2 weeks off school as we learn the new normal, she was 18kg when we went in and was DKA and unresponsive.

I’m fundraising for JDRF to defeat T1D! Once I reach my fundraising target to help support vital T1D research, I’ll be dyeing my hair blue.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.

Please support my challenge and DONATE NOW to help the #JDRFBlueArmy change the lives of Australians living with T1D. Thank you for your support.
