T1D
This year I'm taking part in the JDRF Blue Hair Challenge to help raise funds for life changing type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Once I reach my fundraising target, I'll be colouring my hair blue! Please support me in helping to paint a better future for the 130,000+ Aussies currently living with T1D.
For those who aren’t familiar with T1D – it’s a life-long autoimmune condition where the body is unable to produce insulin (which is what controls blood sugar in our bodies). Without insulin, blood sugar can build up in the bloodstream in dangerous amounts. People with T1D need to monitor their blood sugar levels 24/7 and administer themselves insulin day and night. I’d love if you could support my challenge so together, we can support research aimed at finding cures and improving lives until that happens.
I’m fundraising for JDRF to defeat T1D!
I’m fundraising for JDRF to help defeat T1D! Once I reach my fundraising target of $500 to help support vital T1D research, I’ll be dyeing all my hair blue.
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
Please support my challenge and DONATE NOW to help the #JDRFBlueArmy change the lives of Australians living with T1D. Thank you for your support.
