We're fundraising for a cure for t1d
We are jumping out of a plane to support JDRF in their mission to find a cure for t1d.
I have been a diabetic for almost 15 years, I was diagnosed at the age of 9. I have been able to experience a lot of different things due to being diabetic. Skydiving has always been on top of my bucket list and I couldn't think of a better time to do it then to do it for a great cause.
This fundraiser will be my 2nd or 3rd that I have completed to raise funds for diabetics just like me!
Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 7 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy. JDRF is the largest funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world with a vision to create a world without type 1 diabetes.
