Buzz Cut to Beat Diabetes

Some of my close friends, Anna and Justin Thompson, recently had their daughter, Olivia,  diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes  (T1D).

Watching what they went through with the sudden diagnosis and with their young daughter now having her life topsy-turvyed & having to rethink her whole food & drink intake & watch her blood sugar levels (not to mention the insulin administration)- something which most of us take for granted & which is pretty hard for a young child - I have decided I would like to raise some funds to support the ongoing research into this disease.

Soooooo on Australia Day 2021, I’m going to have a ‘buzz cut to help beat diabetes’.

All I would ask from you guys is to please donate some funds to see my long hair be chopped off & my nearly nude nut on display.  I would love to reach a target of $1500.

If you can afford to donate that would be awesome- even the smallest amount helps. The highest QLD donator can have the first swipe of the shaver or if you live in another state, I’m happy for you to nominate whomever you’d like to make the first mark! Progress shots or a video will be posted for your viewing pleasure ;)

I sincerely thank you for your support.

Big love

Jules x

PS Did you know: Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 7 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.
