Skydiving for a Type 1 Diabetes cure!!
I am so excited to be taking part in the 2024 Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ‘Jump for a Cure’ to help raise money for JDRF to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes!!
I was diagnosed with T1D at the age of 7 and have been living with the disease for (almost) 16 years.
JDRF is the largest funder for T1D research in the world, with a genuine vision to create a life for the 130,000 Aussies living with the disease that doesn’t involve countless injections, finger pricks and hospital visits.
While I am so beyond lucky that I can still live my life to the absolute fullest and don’t have to spend days, weeks or months in hospital like those with other diseases, Type 1 Diabetes still has no cure and affects 1 in 200 Australians, young and old, and will continue to do so without our help!!
