Hey Everyone!!
On the 10th of November my dad and I walked the distance of half a marathon (21km) to raise money and awareness for Type one Diabetes. This is for a service based school project and the cause means a lot to us.
Every three hours someone in Australia is diagnosed with 130,000 Australians, (88 percent being younger than 21) currently living with this life threatening illness.
Around 25,000 Australians are in the early stages of T1D and have yet to be diagnosed
All donations are immediately given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation which funds research for cures, prevention, treatment and support programs. No matter the amount, even $2 will make a massive impact and mean the world.
